BEING BIPARTISAN
Updated: Aug 7
Believe me, I know that things feel really raw and challenging right now nationally. It takes a toll on all of us to feel so divided.
One of the main reasons I'm running is because we need to be able to talk to each other. And probably more important than talking, is listening. To me, this is most possible in my hometown. I'm literally a bring-a-neighbor-soup-when-they're-sick kind of Stony Pointer. I know that seems like something of another era, but I don't think so. I think it's how most people are willing to show up for their community.
If elected as a Stony Point Town Council member, I will work to represent all Stony Pointers, even those who didn't vote for me.
What's more is that I have great relationships with our local representatives at the state level, Assemblyman Chris Eachus and NYS State Senator Pete Harckham. Let me work with them to leverage the best future for our town.
Regardless of which side of the partisan politics you find yourself leaning towards, please know that I care about the whole of Stony Point. And I'll be crossing the political lines on my own ballot to vote for candidates that I believe in, like I have in the past. When you're in the booth, please vote for the individual you think is best for the job; someone who shows up and truly cares about our town. I hope I've been able to prove to you that person is me.
